November 2012
November 8, 2012: Sometimes you might feel as though you aren't getting anywhere. Don't have doubts and don't second guess the things that are happening around you. Even when it's too foggy to see or when life lays it's heavy burden upon your shoulders all at once, God has a plan for you. Let the chips fall where they may and keep your faith with God. Everything is going to work out, everything is possible with the Lord by your side.
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

November 7, 2012: Keep the peace at all times, says the Lord. Don't allow the enemy to stir up your emotions and thoughts distracting you while you are on the path. Trust in me and everything will work itself out.
Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You."
Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You."
November 6,2012: The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger. Job 17:9
November 5, 2012: If you search for him with all of your heart and soul, you will find him. Deuteronomy 4:29
November 2, 2012: Today's scripture is Psalm 91. It is pretty powerful and has helped me get through a pretty rough time in my life. I wanted to share it with everyone. God Bless & Have a safe weekend.
Psalm 91:
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

November 1, 2012: Let us start this month with thankfulness. Let us be thankful for what the Lord has provided us; whether it be shelter, food, friends, or family. With this life we all can easily get distracted; we can easily take things for granted and forget our blessings. Let's give Him thanks! Let's generously give our blessings and help those in need whenever we can. Not only does this please our father in heaven, but it will also be given back to us generously. Remember, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
2 Corinthians 9:7-8 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. "For God loves a person who gives cheerfully." And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
Psalm 41:1-2 Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The Lord rescues them when they are in trouble. The Lord protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies.

October 2012
October 31, 2012: Don't let the mistakes from yesterday keep you from your closeness with God. Don't create that space between you and the Lord because it is that very space that keeps your faith chained to the ground. We're not perfect and we are sinners. So, to think that we have to be cleansed of our sin, mistakes, or wrongdoings before we can ask the Lord to be in our life is all a lie. Don't give in to those thoughts, just push them outside of your mind. God is Love. God is always here for us, He forgives us generously. It brings him joy when we turn our backs from the mistakes we have made and run to his arms. He will never forsake us. How could we possibly ever feel alone or unloved with the the Lord by our side at all times? Praise God.
Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.

October 30, 2012: Press through the fear of facing the things that have caused you to be anxious. Fearlessly move forth to overcome your fear of failure or rejection. Forbearance will not fix it or make it go away, so take the next step in moving towards the freedom you desire. Use this time to advance and not withdraw. Procrastination can be your worst enemy.
Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.
Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.
October 29,2012: God hears your cry for help. Just because you may not feel it in the moment or have those invalid thoughts that he may not exist or care enough for you, you are wrong. Faith is having the ability to seek the unknown and the ability to believe in Him. If your faith is even as small as a mustard seed, that is enough for God to release a fresh anointing that will restore and renew your life. Allow yourself be in the presence of this holy spirit.

October 26, 2012: A bible verse a day, keeps the enemy away :) Happy Friday Friends!
Philippians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

October 25, 2012: That situation which is hovering down over you like a thick heavy cloud will soon pass. Keep your faith in position to give you the strength to press through it. Remember perspective. Don't let the distractions tug at your thoughts and don't let the temptation suck in your soul. The mind can be a tricky thing to conquer, but tell yourself "My thoughts do not control me, I do and I choose the word of God over my flesh stricken thoughts. Through God all things are possible and I will not let the enemy bring me down. Thank you Jesus." Know that God has a blessing in store for you, have that confidence instead of beating yourself up over your mistakes. God knows we're not perfect, that's why he sent Jesus. We are loved by God no matter what! It is inevitable and we are forgiven! Thank you Lord!
Psalm 22:24 He has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned his back on them, but has listened to their cries for help.
Hebrews 13:6 We can say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?"

October 24,2012: Loving God
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. Psalm 37:4-5
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9
God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. Hebrews 6:10

October 23, 2012: For some, it is easier to be angry with someone than accepting and forgiving. It gets tiring, draining, and makes us lose sense of our Godly self. Let us not use evil with evil but instead, pray for our enemies and wish them well. Maybe the impact you leave will change their life.
Romans 12:20-21 But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink, for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

October 22, 2012: Friends, let's live our days with a positive attitude. Know that God is by our side even when things go wrong, just say "God, I know things aren't going my way right now but they must be in your will so I will not complain and I thank you for your blessings. I know you won't let me fall apart and I know good will come from this." God is a loving God so let's love our brothers and sisters. Watch the slip of your tongues against others, and remember our thoughts become our words. Let's consume ourselves into the Word on a daily basis. Let's do what God sent us here to do, which is to help the lost find their home in Christ our Lord. By sharing love and kindness, how can one be so malicious towards us? Nothing can overpower our joy because nothing is bigger than our God! Praise God!
Psalm 42:5 Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, my Help and My God.

October 20, 2012: Stay strong. Keep moving forward regardless of how fast or slow you are able to go. This is no time to get discouraged and give up. You have gained a level of momentum that will sustain you. Allow the Lord to be the wind that will lifts and carries you. He will send angels to be your unseen help.

October 19, 2012: For when you're feeling discouraged:
Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."
October 18, 2012: I keep repeating faith because of how important it is. In order for us to truly believe in the unknown, our faith only has to be the size of a mustard seed in God's standards! That's a tiny amount of faith, but by God that's all it takes! How amazing is that? Some of us say, "Ok God, I have faith, but I don't know, I don't know, I don't know......" giving in to that voice in our heads that is full of doubt and that's not faith. Having faith isn't begging God to get you that job you really want, to make that person love you, to give you what you think you may need. Having faith means saying "God, I know you know what's right for me and if I'm meant to have that job and its in your will, then I KNOW you will make it happen. I have faith that you will send me the right person in my love life, I have faith that you will provide for my family to have food on the table, I have faith that you will take care of me because I am a child of God." Having faith means assuring God that we BELIEVE he WILL always lead us in the right path and provide for us. When God sees our openness, our obedience, and our faithfulness he may not bless us with what we want, but we'll be amazed at the many blessings he WILL provide. Praise God! Our God is a loving God!
Matthew 17:20 “Because you’re not yet taking God seriously,” said Jesus. “The simple truth is that if you had a mere kernel of faith, a poppy seed, say, you would tell this mountain, ‘Move!’ and it would move. There is nothing you wouldn’t be able to tackle.”

October 17,2012: Feeling envious of others is part of our human nature. As human beings, we are natural competitors, but it is the enemy when it becomes so obsessive that it begins to eat at our souls. We might have thoughts we wouldn't normally think and sometimes feelings of bitterness or anger in our hearts. I believe that it is the enemy trying to make you believe that you are not good enough and he is tricking you into thinking negatively about yourself. The enemy will use everything in his power to make us believe him such as people, music, and thoughts. Maybe it's just not your purpose, your season, or your time. God has something in store for ALL of us. Each of us has a plan and a purpose. We can walk in confidence and faith knowing that our God is going to bless us whether it be tomorrow or in a year, let's praise him for everything that we have today instead of condemning him for not giving us what we want, just to make other people happy. It may not be our time or our season to shine, but God has that time set for you and he is just waiting for you to let him make it happen. Faith and patience.
I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors. But this, too, is meaningless - like chasing the wind. Ecclesiastes 4:4
Wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind. James 3:16
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2
I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life. John 8:12

October 16, 2012: You are not who you were yesterday. You are not the thoughts that fill your mind with evil and doubt. You are God's child and you are loved. You might be going through something at this time in your life that is causing you pain, stress, grief, and hurt. Keep your faith and don't let go of what God has planned for you. Someone may have left you on bad terms, but let them walk because if they have left, they are not in God's plan for you. Be THANKFUL that they left because God has someone even better, someone who loves God just as much as you and they are on their way. Be patient and focus on God's word for your life. You may be struggling with money and think it's a never ending cycle, but push through these hard times, KNOW that God will take care of you. God doesn't give us what we can't handle. He made YOU and he KNOWS you. He knows your thoughts, what your limit is, your heart, and exactly what you need.
Luke 7:44-47 The Lord said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did no put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven - for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."
Luke 7:50 The Lord said to that same woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

October 15, 2012: Count it all joy even in sickness. Your faith is being tested. How long will you trust God? Know you are being tested and stand strong in your faith. The testing of your faith produces steadfastness and the outcome of your faith will be beyond what you'd ever expect.
James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
October 12, 2012: Accept helpful feedback & listen to constructive criticism, but be careful at the same time to not become too obsessed. Becoming too obsessed with what other people think about you, will surely be the quickest way to lose sight of what GOD thinks about you. The more you pray about this, the closer you get to God, and the lesser those invalid critical people will bother you. Rise above those invalid thoughts about yourself and remember what GOD says matters the most. With this you will not only be less affected by the negative words of others, but you will also be MORE loving towards people, and you will be less critical of them yourself as well.

October 11, 2012: In the bible it says not to worry, not to fear, to give God all of our troubles, and to trust in him that he will take care of us. By trusting in the Lord, what fear can we have? What weapon formed against us shall prosper? If we have God on our side, nothing! That being said, it is important to also thank God for the troubles we go through as well. (Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD). We may not ever be able to wrap our minds around why it is that God allows pain, but if we have faith and if we trust in the Lord, he will always bless us. Thank you Jesus!

October 10, 2012: The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings (inarticulate sound, as of pain or grief) that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will. - Romans 8:26-27

October 9, 2012: Sometimes the unknown can be the hardest thing to rely on or believe, but that's why faith is so important. Having faith allows me to open up completely to God and surrender. How wonderful would it feel to not have worries or troubles, to know that it is taken care of by the Lord? Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

October 8,2012: Expect the unexpected, God will lead you in a path that you have not known, nor could you have imagined. Yield to his Spirit, and he will reveal things that have been hidden from your eyes. He is your very present help in times of trouble; seek Him for the answers you need to resolve difficult issues. Trust me, for I am for you and with you, says the Lord.

October 4, 2012: Sometimes the enemy will make you will feel like hitting your head against a brick wall. It gets hard to erase the thoughts and emotions that flare up out of nowhere. Sometimes even the faintest sounds will spark up something inside of you that leads you to a deadly place. The next thing you know, you're not yourself. Somewhere deep inside behind that darkness, there's a peace. It will be hard, but press deeper to get to that place. When you witness yourself reach the very edge, remember to call on God for strength! The more you do this, the stronger you'll be the next time the enemy tries to drag you down! Stand strong and don't let him feed you lies!

October 2, 2012: When you feel sad, know that your God is near. When you feel empty, remember to pray. That void in your heart will soon be filled with joy and love. Push through as hard as humanly possible and allow God to finish the rest for you. God made you, he knows how much you can take and how much is too much. He might let you bend, but he'll never let you break. Have faith, says the Lord.

October 1, 2012: If you come across opportunities to confront consequences of past thoughts, behaviors and actions; take the chance to clear the air and deal with these issues directly. Procrastinating will only lead to further complications so fix whatever you have the control over, and trust God for the rest. Refuse to give in to a spirit of fear, which will cause you to dread dealing with these issues, and will even open the door to a spirit of failing, which will try to convince you that you are helpless and hopeless. Rise up in hope for a fresh start.

September 2012
September 30, 2012: Where there is evil, God uses for good. Sometimes when you think your day cannot get any worse, stones will pile up in your path. Use this time to build a new perspective by viewing it as something God is allowing to happen because of something greater that awaits you in the end. Don't let the enemy steal your faith and courage. There is a reason God is putting you through the trials and tribulations. Stand strong and be faithful because the Lord almighty is going to see your loyalty and bless you abundantly!

September 29, 2012: Have patience and those things that have been burdening you will reveal to you that you've been in the flow of My Spirit the whole time. You thought you had been off path all along, possibly even taken away from me, says the Lord. But, I have been with you the whole time and have even directed your steps to bring you to a new level of revelation and dedication. This will serve you well in the coming days so stay strong!

August 31, 2012: If you don't know what you're doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You'll get his help, and won't be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believing, without a second thought. People who "worry their prayers" are like wind-whipped waves. Don't think you're going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.
